SlushBus
Bus compression that can pull loud material down, lift quiet detail up, and add controlled movement.
SlushBus is a bidirectional bus compressor and gain rider. Max Reduce limits how far loud material is pulled down, while Max Boost limits how far quieter material is lifted. The result can tighten a bus without relying only on downward compression.
DePump reduces the breathing caused by harder compression. Swell can add deliberate movement back in. Transient-aware detection, four threshold modes, detector filters, Strength, and Mix provide detailed control over the shape and intensity of the effect. A live reference scope and Null Test make it easier to see and hear what SlushBus is changing.
SlushBus works best as a finishing tool on material that is already reasonably balanced. Start with modest Strength and use the full demo to decide whether its workflow suits the mix.
